We're all familiar with the realm of Warhammer and the Grim Darkness of the far future, but there are so many untapped tabletop games that haven't made it to the foreground in our humble yet growing community! Warmachine and Hordes for instance! A few months ago hardly anybody out here in the great sandpit had heard of it, or had any experience with it, but with the dedication of a few, many new players are now enjoying the thrills of hulking Warjacks being thrown across the battlefield by monstrous beasts!
Ho-Ho-Ho and all that Christmas corn! Ho-Ho-How are we doing on this Merry Season? Ho-Ho-Hope you're all looking forward to a decent break full of some decent gaming! (Don't worry I've stopped all of that Ho'ing business now) To celebrate the Christmas season there are a few new releases from the merry folks at Games Workshop! We've got big monsters, entire armies and some of the coolest looking terrain I've ever laid my eyes upon. Now if only I could get my hands on it!
DRT IV has come and gone, but hopefully fond memories of it will remain for all those who took part. Taking place over the 28th and 29th of October, Festival City played host to the largest Dubai Red Tent event yet! With a UAE record breaking turnout for miniature wargaming, the cummunity came together, fought one another and had a proper good time doing so!
The Tomb World sands are shifting. From beneath the barren wastes of far lying systems, reanimation protocols have been initiated. The Necrons are back! Bringing with them a host of new wargear, weaponry and mechanical malevolence; they seek to purge the universe of all sentient living life. A metal plague, they sweep away hope with a single automated glance and slice in twain the courage of all, along with their lives.
