I'd like to thank Matt Ward for:
-butchering the 40k fluff in general for the past few years
-making an OP WHFB codex that withstood changes from 7th to 8th edition
-making ultra-smurfs what they are today, the ONE TRUE MARINE CHAPTER
-making Grey Knights a bunch of psychi-wielding monstrosities that wield DAEMONIC weapons
-giving us flying landraiders

Hm I don't think that topic covers it well at all - it's basically a *defending the impossible*...
In his topic Goatboy basically says: Matt Ward is cool because he brings something different to the table and makes powerful codices. Hell he even ends up confirming he wants to see an OP necron codex that will remove GK from the limelight.
IMO that's not how codices should be built! :)

Than I c a superduper termi armor monster creature that kills other monster creatures with a giant mountain splitting force weapon... I was like gw... I hate u...
Now, looking at his first works, the birth of his evil, the chaos drmons fantasy book.... To realize that he has litrrely removed several units, yes, the book has less units than the first! And made several wtf make no sense rules...
