take your clippers, a drill bits would be better if approapriately sized, then rotate the chosen tool to make a deep-ish  hole in the plastic, then take a hobby knife and make shallower cuts coming away  from the centre of the hole, this gives efevtive damage looks and when painting paint the wholte thing black then insider of the black paint boltgun metal to show how the paint has been rripped off.

unless your really good at shading and painting (which i dont think anyone here is at the level to do) then you're better off adding chips and scratches rather than bulltet holes.

for scratches paint the scratch in a grey of choice, then but black inside the scratch but leave the grey around the edges, then do the same with boltgun metal in the black.

Dont judge others :)
Deone's last golden camel model was absolutely fantastic and of a very high level.

I've never attempted bullet holes but the technique described by swarmlord would work, i d recomment to do the opposite and lay the black first, then highlight the edges to give it 3D.

ok kool, how about i did this........

first paint a small circle with boltgun metal and then make i look like a scratch and highlight with mithiril silver and in the middle of the circle chaos black, i'll post a pic to show what it might look like .

nope that wouldn't work, you can do that for scratches were the paint is removed but if you're trying to make bullet holes you're gonna need actual depth and of course. a hole. if you're an amazing painter yuo can make it look as if it's a hole while actually being 2D but then up close it's still way too noticable

I'm using a round tipped soldering iron that I gently push on the plastic surface to create the hole. The melted plastic forms an uneven border around the hole that looks like shredded edges of metal. Try not going through the piece of plastic, it is a surface effect. You can then paint the center black and brush/highlight the shredded in any metal shade you like :)

EDIT: Bought the soldering iron at Ace for Dhs. 39

so long as your responsible and have a parent around you can use mine? I've  never had a need for it so its never use, it came in a set with a drill, dremel & engraver tool set.
