Ordering paints & pigments online

The only way to get thinner-based paints sent over is via seafreight - no company will airfreight it. Other paints should be fine as long as they're not Hazardous Material, again if they are it's a nono.
I was looking at getting some Vallejo paints myself but the only website that I've found that will ship it to the UAE is quite expensive - 50 Euros shipping.
Here is the website: http://www.hobbymodelismo.es

hey, if you did order say a full shipment of vallejo paints, what would the cost of them be if you had to add on that shipping cost, coz if its less than GW paints still then I'd say its worth it. I'd love some paint designed for an airbrush rather than all the guess work with GW and Windex
Karlan: If you or anyone else would like to place a joint order with me for Vallejo paints and pigments then please let me know. We can then split the cost of shipping. I hear that MIG pigments and AK or ProModeller washes are the best. I am sure we could find a US or UK firm willing to ship to the UAE.
I use an airbrush and find that GW paints work just fine. I thin them down with water or thinners and the quality of GW paints means they don't clog up my AB. The usual paint removal tech works fine for GW paints in the AB too. I use a, thinners, b, soap and water and c, Mr muscle oven cleaner spray about every 6th use of the AB. You must thoroughly wash your AB after every use however to maintain the best performance.
What kind of AB do you have?

Hadn't opened this thread in a long time but we've ordered the basic Vallejo Game Colour sets at Battlezone PnS and they ll be there sometime this week. the retail price is the same as USD prices!
we ll also take any orders for other Vallejo products we r not carrying. Getting closer to convenient gaming one step at a time :)
Noxy: Wow! I'm glad I found this thread if you say you can get Vallejo products. What sort of time frame are we looking at for deliveries? Where can I get a list of products available to order? Can you get Pigments? How soon can I order?....... you might have guessed I am a little excited at the thought of finally getting some cool paints![]()
Who should I ask for at PnS to follow up on this?

Deliveries depend on our own restocks and will be from 1 to 3 weeks - TBC at the time of order. All Vallejo paints are available save the pigment sets and the airbrush thinner. Single bottle of paints/pigments are all available.
For reference the prices come to:
-Pigments: 17 AED pp
-Game Colour Bottle: 15 AED pp
-Model Air Bottle: 15 AED pp
For orders at BattleZone you can send an email to sales@battlezone.me or call +971(0)56 7960286
@ Noxy : Great News , good to have some Citadel alternative materials to work with :-)
@ pcc : I did manage to pickup some of the Vallejo / Tamiya materials while away for work / summer hols over the last few months , but it's good to know that I can restock locally if needed . If theres anything Noxy can't bring in or you need something that he's out of for a while then I'd be happy to pick it up for you if I'm travelling to a place that does have it . As for the AB , I've an Iwata HP-C Plus with a 3 litre tank Air-depot compressor , was working quiet well till last night when it decided to trip the electricity panel switch every time I turn it on
Noxy: Thats fabulous news. I'll be in touch just as soon as I've figured out which products to order. I have some 40K barriers to paint and weather plus an army to assemble and, also some Tamiya and Trumpeter kits to build which I have been putting off till I could source the right paints.
Karlan: Great to cyber meet a fellow modeller. That AB sounds the biz. Hope you get it fixed. I have the Tamiya 'trigger' nozzle with Tamiya compressor. Very basic I am led to believe, but for someone who has only been modelling for 6 months it does the business. I keep meaning to track down the AB supplier at the Dragon mart but haven't got there yet. As for helping out with other kit I will graciously accept the offer. Once i have a list of 'must haves' I'll let you know.
