Warmachine-Cryx Warband

Thought I would share my new endeavour with you all. I am doing a Cryx warband. Cryx is a land of the dead and the Warjacks (large steam powered machines) are controlled by the Warcaster. Cryx Warjacks are powered by undead energies and they are the things of nightmares.

Here is my first Warjack, the Slayer

Here is my Warcaster, she is a malevolent dark fiend (sorry the pic is a little blurry

Here is the Warcaster and Warjack together

I am using P3 Master Paint series and I started with a dark base coat with the Cryx Gold. I washed the model in GW Devlan Mus and layered lighter coats. The Warjack has a bad cut out of the center of the head as the Privater plastic is odd, almost resin like, and really requires a soft touch when cleaning the models. I will give them a rocky ash waste style basing when I complete the starter warband of about Heavy Warjack, two Light Warjacks, and Warcaster (about 10 points). Most games are played at 20-35 points and large games are 100+ I'll update as I progress.

Hi Kangor

Due to Familly bereavement and work commitments we couldn't get down to see you before you left, sorry we missed you. I hope everything is going well for you at present. The Cryx models look great - i need to get mine out and rebuild them. But this will have to wait until i have finished painting the 300 skaven models i need for my 2400pt army - and thats still with one of each of the warmachines and HPA!

Nice to see you on the forums again

P.S. What thay have done in park n shop  looks very good.
