Ho-Ho-Ho and all that Christmas corn! Ho-Ho-How are we doing on this Merry Season? Ho-Ho-Hope you're all looking forward to a decent break full of some decent gaming! (Don't worry I've stopped all of that Ho'ing business now) To celebrate the Christmas season there are a few new releases from the merry folks at Games Workshop! We've got big monsters, entire armies and some of the coolest looking terrain I've ever laid my eyes upon. Now if only I could get my hands on it!
So first up we have the new releases for Warhammer Fantasy and they're huge! There are some amazing new beasties perfect for smashing faces and breaking the ranks of your cowardly enemies. Beastmen seem to have gotten the most love out of this batch, but due to the release of Storm of Magic expansion earlier this year, any army can have some fun with the big creatures. So without further ado, because we all hate ado, say hello to the new Gorgon/Cygor kit:

As if he wasn't scary enough, he can be posed to be throwing a boulder large enough to scare even a dragon. Next up we have a few Finecast kits, in the form of the JabberSlyth, the Doombull and some Mangler Squigs:

If you've ever thought about getting started with Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Fantasy, you couldn't have chosen a better time. Now you don't even have to worry about putting together your own army list as GW have done it for you! They're releasing four new Megaforces for the season, featuring a decent army list for Space Marines, Dark Eldar, Skaven and High Elves! This'll get you everything you need all in one convenient box as well as scoring yourself a few free units:

Finally we get to the end of all the Christmas goodies and it has to be my own personal favorite item. It's not a large monster, or an entire army either... it's a building. The most amazing piece of terrain ever! It's the perfect addition to any game board, the only drawback is that the wizard isn't included! It's the Lair of the Astromancer:

It's going to be a VERY good Christmas this year! Keep an eye out for any upcoming events and check to GW website for more information on their other holiday products.
Happy Gaming!
